ELEGANT EXPRESSIONS MAGAZINE PRESENTS MATT BORLENGHI

For this month’s cover, I selected an individual that I find to be tremendously inspiring and also immensely humble about his incredible accomplishments. Matt is first and foremost an actor, but also an array of other things, including writer, director and producer.  His body of work is packed full of brilliant performances and bunches of creative characters.  Further, he is a respected member of his own community, along with being a stronghold for his beloved family at home.  

Turning to his acting career for a second, he first came to the attention of audiences on "All My Children", starring opposite Kelly Ripa. While playing this role, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy and won the Soap Opera Digest Award. Borlenghi then went on to star in several prime-time TV shows such as "The Jeff Foxworthy Show", "Pig Sty", "Party Girl", "Police Academy: The Series", and a pilot for a "Married with Children" spin-off titled "Enemies", opposite Nicole Eggert. He has also been the recipient of five other awards, along with two nominations, for his various acting roles. Matt is also a multiple award-winning producer and has spent several years on the development of TV shows with and for production companies and networks.

Presently, most TV audiences are recognizing him from his Netflix series Cobra Kai, where he plays Lyle the Pawn Shop Guy. On the film side of things, he has a lead role in the Lifetime TV production, Can You Feel The Beat: The Lisa Lisa Story. To add to his string of successes, he is about to launch his new apparel line, SkateRatt. Matt is hoping to change the meaning of this term from derogatory to one of deep positivity and purpose. Release is set for June 25, 2025, which is Go Skateboarding Day. Finally, he has started writing his memoir.
